Rode hard & put up wet. There was a lot of slippery mud on the sidewalks tonight, courtesy of the continuous drizzle today. Some of it I was able to jump over, and some, not so much. I'm always amazed when I meet people with clean shoes, because mine look new for about three days, if that!

Day 117

Smoothie time! Both the boy and I had a good workout at the gym, me on the treadmill and him in the playscape tunnels. So when we came home, protein shakes just seemed like the perfect recovery drink for both of us. Mine is mixed berry, his is papaya, mango & pineapple. Yummy.

Day 116

I didn't make the chance to get any really good photos of Pack 15's "Most Realistic Car" on race day, so here's a close up of the blue cobra car designed, cut, sanded, painted and decorated by Benjamin. Paint job's not perfect and the decals are a little off - in fact it looks like a car a 9-year-0ld would build. That makes it all that much cooler.
