Day 107

Duck!!!  On the way to the gym this morning on my supposed-to-be 20-miler, I stopped and hung out with the ducks at Gateway Park.  I've always liked this itty little park, about half a mile from all the madness of the mall and the Highlands shopping center and the Cost-too-Much.  It's a nice serene break from the hustle of the suburbs.  The ducks sure seem to like it.

Day 54

Ended up we did get a li'l bit o' snow in South A today, just a smidge. It didn't stick around for long, and I didn't stick around long enough outside to wait for it to accumulate in the yard - it was time to go in and get some hot cocoa!!

Day 43

 

Clouds looked spooky today, even though the moon was just a little slivery thing. Snapped this on the way out of my in-law's house; I like the creepy touch of the bare branches in the top corner, too.

Day 29

Sunset over Suburbia. Was driving west and had to pull over to try to get the amazing colors in this sunset; noticed afterward that I got the US and Texas flags smack dab in the middle.
