Day 13
I wandered around the inside of the main university building during the break in my sessions, and lo and behold, turned a corner and found the Cloisters! What a lovely surprise on a really beautiful fall day, and a fitting way to wrap up my Scotland trip.

Day 12
Had fish and chips for lunch today at this pub across the street from campus. Apparently it is a fairly authentic pub. I don't know about that, but the three older gentlemen wearing wool sweaters, caps and scarves who stopped to chat with us seemed authentic enough!

Day 11
Church across the street has been converted into a restaurant. It took me a couple of shots to realize that the colored lights change every few minutes. Yeah, it's been a long day.

Day 10
I paid for snacks at the market down the street with a 10-pound note and got a handful of metal as change. My wallet is bulging with all these odd little coins.

Day 9
Stirling Castle, outside Glasgow. This is the view from a keyhole window inside the King's kitchens, overlooking the cemetery and, in the distance, the William Wallace monument.

Day 8
The Kibble Palace at the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow. Not a large collection, but the building itself is very nice, and the statues inside were lovely, as was the diversity of the plants.

Day 6
Someone on the project referred to this as the Harry Potter building. It is amazingly detailed and I love the light on it a few minutes before sunset.
